Trof Review
Situated on two levels, this bar is the
epitome of laid back cool. Big leather sofas the cool music echoing at a
comfortable volume make this place the epitome of laid back cool.
Upstairs a jukebox is available which creates a more personal atmosphere for
those who want it and provides a really great place to relax.
A large range of Belgian beers are sold here, in contrast to many other bars;
Delirium Tremens, Duvel and Jan Van Gent are some such examples.
A small number of organic beers and ciders are also available. Beers from other
locations around the globe such as the USA, Thailand, Holland and Germany are
also represented here and truly add to the vast diversity of what is on offer
here.
The fact that it is located in proximity to other nightlife makes it a perfect
pre night out haunt at the weekend while its low key and relaxed interior makes
it equally suitable to lunch or mid week drinks with friends

Speed Dating Manchester Explained
· First you will need to sign up with us; this can be as simple as giving an email address or mobile phone number. After this you can then purchase your speed dating tickets. Upon completion you will receive an email from us detailing your speed dating in Manchester venue. · Once you have registered you can upload a picture to your profile. This is recommended as it acts as a memory aid to other people who attend the same event as yourself. · When you arrive at your chosen venue you will be given a number by one of our hosts; this is your ID. Everyone who attends the event will have their own number; 1-20 for the gents and 1-20 for the ladies. · The host will ask the speed daters to go and sit a table that has their matching number on. · The host will then ring a bell; let the speed dating commence! You now have four minutes to wow your date with charm, jokes or romance. · Before you know it the bell will sound again; this means your time is up. You now have a moment to capture your thoughts on the card provided, next to the relevant number. If you enjoyed your time with this person and would like the know more you can tick their number. You will take this card home with you at the end of the evening of speed dating in Manchester. Either the ladies or the gents then move to the next table. · There's normally a break half way through, as all those dates can get a bit overwhelming and you may need a drink after all that talking. · Having had a four minute speed dating session with all the members of the opposite sex who have attended the event, the session will draw to a close, but you will be free to hang around and chat to the people you have met during the evening. · The next morning, you will receive an email or a text from us to let you know that the speed dating event has been unlocked. You are then free to enter your ticks on our website from the night before and view the profile pictures of your dates. If you give some of your dates a second thought, then you can always go back and enter more ticks. · If you have a matching tick then contact information about that person who went speeddating will be sent to you (either a phone number or an email address). Likewise, your details will be sent to this person. The rest is up to you!
