Pitcher & Piano Bristol Review
Located on the popular Cannons Road area of Bristol, The Pitcher and Piano is a
prime location for Speed Dating events as it is elegant comfortable and relaxed,
while being close enough to other nightlife so those who are having such a good
night they want to carry it on somewhere else. Inside this bar is large, with
the space being used creatively to create three floors of stylish space with leather sofas, comfy chairs, and large tables
mean that there are plenty of place for speeddating.
The cocktail menu here is extensive and reasonably priced compared to many bars.
Classics such as the Pina Colada and more unusual blends such as the Orange and
Passion fruit Mojito are served daily which means there’s something to suit most
tastes.
There is a large variety of different red and white wines on offer as well as
the classic rose varieties, and the Champagne selection is broad, covering a
variety of price ranges. For example, Canard Duchene Brut represents the
reasonable end of this market whereas those feeling more extravagant can
purchase Krug Grande Cuvee for over a hundred pounds a bottle.
There is a good selection of Belgium beers in bottled form such as Leffe and
Hoegaarden, and these accompany the usual trendy bar varieties such as Becks,
Grolsch and Peroni. Eight different beers and ales are available on draught such
as Amstel, Fosters, San Miguel, Guinness and Staropramen. Overall, this drinks
menu highlights and enhances the Speed Dating experience, as you can relax and
talk to people with your favourite drink in your hand; a very different yet
enjoyable way to spend a weekday evening!

Speed Dating Bristol Explained
· First you will need to sign up with us; this can be as simple as giving an email address or mobile phone number. After this you can then purchase your speed dating tickets. Upon completion you will receive an email from us detailing your speed dating in Bristol venue. · You then have the opportunity to upload a picture of yourself and make yourself immediately recognisable (remember: this is important for those who will go speed dating with you) · When you arrive at your chosen venue you will be given a number by one of our hosts; this is your ID. Everyone who attends the event will have their own number; 1-20 for the gents and 1-20 for the ladies. · At the start of the event, the host will ask all the speed daters to take their seats at their designated tables. · When bell rings the speed dating begins, you have 4 minutes to chat to the other person. · When this four minute session is over, time is allotted to filling in your Speed Dating card, which allows you to log who you have spoken to and your general impression of that individual. · About half way through the speed dating you can have a break for that much needed drink! · Once you’ve speed-dated every guy or girl there, the host will end the event. You are then free to mingle with the other speeddaters in the venue; perhaps share a drink and see if you can get a few more of those sparks flying. · During the day following your Speed Dating event, you will receive a text or email notifying you that the system for your event has been opened. You should then visit the website where you will be able to view the photos of the other people who attended and enter your own ticks and crosses for them. It is possible to go back and amend this at a later date if you have a change of heart and decide to tick someone else. · If you tick somebody that you met at speed dating and they tick you, then they will get either your mobile number or email address (you can decide when you register with us). You can then get in contact with them, chat some more and maybe meet up again.
