Speed Dating Derby Explained
· First you will need to sign up with us; this can be as simple as giving an email address or mobile phone number. After this you can then purchase your speed dating tickets. Upon completion you will receive an email from us detailing your speed dating in Derby venue. · You then have the opportunity to upload a picture of yourself and make yourself immediately recognisable (remember: this is important for those who will go speed dating with you) · At the speed dating venue, one of our hosts will book you in and assign you a number from 1 to 20. · The host will ask the speed daters to go and sit a table that has their matching number on. · When bell rings the speed dating begins, you have 4 minutes to chat to the other person. · The bell rings at the end of the 4 minutes of speed dating. You then need to write down what you thought of the person, their number and tick them if you like them. Then either the girls or guys will move on to the next table number (e.g. 4>5, 20>1). · About half way through the speed dating you can have a break for that much needed drink! · Having had a four minute speed dating session with all the members of the opposite sex who have attended the event, the session will draw to a close, but you will be free to hang around and chat to the people you have met during the evening. · Next day you will be contacted (via text or email), letting you know that the website has opened up. This means you can now go to your user area and access the information relating to the previous night, along with profile pictures. Here you can enter your ticks. · If you get a match (you tick somebody and they tick you) then our speed dating system will automatically email or text them your email or phone number (you can choose this when you setup your account with us). It's then up to you how to take it from there. Call, text or email; the choice is yours.
